Post trikonasana

You can now find some Saraswati inspired by sacred geometry in The Om Store at Lion's Breath Yoga & Pilates, located on 124th street in Edmonton.

They are carrying necklaces with the flower of life etched into a seashell as well as a sampling of the rest of the collection. Great Christmas presents for your enlightened loved ones, and after a Prana Bender class you may feel you deserve one yourself!

Christmas is a Coming. . .

Thanks to Only Here For The Food, an Edmontonian epicurean blog who mentioned Saraswati being at the Royal Bison Craft Fair this past weekend. The new Feather Wrap cuff was a hit, and we could barely keep up with demand. If you'd like to check the cuff out, I am dropping a couple off at Bamboo Ballroom this afternoon.

Papirmasse, a fun and funky Montreal based art subscription is back in business. For only $5.00 a month, you will receive a fresh art print on archival paper right to your mailbox. I am stoked. Who doesn't like getting art in the mail?

I will be in SUB at the U of A later on this week, and at the Handmade Mafia this weekend for all of your  Christmas shopping needs. Beautiful new necklaces for this weekend are in production (well in my imagination so far anyways). The mafia is expanding to 2 buildings to fit all the crafty goodness this upcoming weekend. More selection = better gifts.

Calcutta Coins

Here are some necklaces that I started making this week featuring antique coins that I found on the mean streets of Calcutta. Actually no one there was mean at all. . .

Some of the coins date back to the Mughal Empire. I love the green patina on this last coin.

I will be at the Alberta Aviation Museum for Make It Edmonton! starting tonight, and in Old Strathcona for the Royal Bison this weekend. Two places at once - MAGIC!!

See you there for some Christmas craft extravaganzaing!

Beads & Seeds

Here are some new earrings that I have come up with for Winter Wonderland in Old Strathcona this weekend:

The materials used include rudraksha and recycled glass beads.

This should be a fun event; live music, a bake sale, and even a Crafty Santa!

Hope to see you there.

In the valley.

A big thanks to The Natural Home in Invermere. They will be featuring some Saraswati in their stunning showroom beginning next week.

WOWZa!

It has been a while(major understatement) since I've posted, but it has been such a stellar week for Saraswati that she deserves some cred.

The highlights . . .

Ponytails + Horsehoes on 109th Street is now showing a plethora of Saraswati pieces. Jane and the stylists love the sandalwood bracelets and brass earrings and foresee them going quickly, so if you'd like to see some Saraswati in person, this is the place to check out.

Bamboo Ballroom has also graciously decided to show some of my cuffs, stud earrings, and rings. They do pair wonderfully with some of the fetching brass necklaces they have on sale.

Saraswati will be at the 9th Royal Bison Craft & Art Fair taking place on November 27th and 28th in Old Strathcona.

I love how this fair is so different from the standard shows. From locally made prints to moustaches on keyrings, this is always an interesting weekend in Edmonton. I am currently working away on some new necklaces and earrings made from brass and recycled glass-bottle beads for the fair too!

Thanks to my bud Minn for letting me take a picture of her wearing the new Baby Brass Bracelets over coffee. Aren't they shiny. . .
